A REALLY big database. website loading really slow.

    Hi

    I have two wordpress websites each having a database of around 350mb or so.they have around 350,000 posts each. The problem with both of them is that they were taking around 20-25 seconds to load completely. THis was a problem I was facing for a lot of time.

    SO, one day i decided to upgrade my blog to the new 2.6 version and to my surprise, one of them began loading really fast. just as normal blogs do despite the heavy database.

    the other one however is still loading really slowly despite the upgrade.

    can anyone please tell me any solutions on how I can go about trouble shooting this issue because I am completely lost.

    the Server is a quad-core 4gb ram server so it is not a problem with the server 🙁
