I’ve got mod-rewrite on, along with perma links. I have my blog showing 5 posts per page. After the posts, I have the following code:
<?php posts_nav_link('separator', 'previous', 'next'); ?>
It gives me my Previous Page::Next Page nav links at the bottom of the page.
Today I noticed something a bit odd…. From the main page, if I click on a category, say “Site Updates” I get the “friendly” URL: http://techgnome.anderson-website.net/posts/category/site-updates/, but I noticed that my Next Page link reads: http://techgnome.anderson-website.net/index.php?category_name=site-updates/&paged=2
I don’t mind the &paged=2 bit… but I at least expected the rest of the URL to be “correct”….
http://techgnome.anderson-website.net/posts/category/site-updates/&paged=2 or something like that.
OK, now, I admit I’m using an older version of WP (1.1-alpha) so this is something that mayhave been fixed. If so, then jsut let me know, or if not, then is it something that will be fixed? Can it even be fixed?
