Is there a way to exclude a small part of a page from being excluded from the cache?

    Perhaps by a span ID#?

We have an indicator “we are open” vs. “we are closed” and the cache is holding older data.

We could flush the cache every few minutes but that defeats the purpose of having a cache in the first place when the rest of the page is stable enough for an hourly flush.

Nor do we want to exclude the entire home page from the cache – our most common landing page.

@susgeek You’ll either have to exclude the page from WP-optimize > Cache > Exclude url or purge the cache as soon as you make any changes to your page.

    Well dang.

It is on the home page which really needs to be cached otherwise.

I’ll just have to make the cache time pretty short.
