The Cycle Widget is really cool.

When I first used this plugin it had a minor issue and the plugin author offered to work with me to solve the issue. It was solved within two days. On my first feedback, there was a prompt response. It is great to find a plugin that is supported so well.

My next step is to try out the frontend testimonial submission form. This is in the premium version, but it looks great from the example and the screenshots and customers want to enter their reviews on the frontend, so it is a big plus to have such a form.

[edit] I purchased the premium version and tried the frontend submission form. Simply works, exactly what I needed, so I’m adding the last star now.

    Hey Bart!

I would like to work with you to correct these issues – can you email me at richard@illuminatikarate.com and let me know your setup details so I can attempt to reproduce on my end?

I’ve seen the cycle widget have issues if there is a javascript conflict with something pre-existing on the site (which does happen from time to time.)

Thank you for reporting the “continue reading” issue.

    Best,
    Richard

In a fresh playground environment the cycle widget does work in the sidebar.

I do not know which change of settings or which change in my theme may have caused it to not work the first time.

The 404 on Continue Reading still exists. This is the same for the cycle widget as for the Random Testimonial widget.

The plugin author is right at it to fix this issue.

The issues are fixed in version 1.7.3
