This is a particularly interesting plugin — we use it to track “fake” landing page URLs and introduce redirects for slugs like /mytracker
That way we have a way to track specific links inbound and on site for particular campaigns. You can even use a redirect to a media file to see how often certain images load. The groups feature is also useful to aggregate trackers under 1 name.
Only 4 stars due to 1 issue: redirects to the mailto: url seem to strip out the @ sign creating a malformed new email header.
Otherwise really great – I hope it keeps getting maintained or just becomes part of core — it’s that important.
