    I find it confusing and questionable that you have a number of plugins with no real good explanation (my opinion as to why)

    I had been using Zemanta with the firefox add-on and just found out that you have a related posts from your own posts which I just tried and really like however I do not like the Zemanta backlink embedded on every post.

    Is that really necessary?

    Is there a way to remove that other than turning off the themes and coding the CSS yourself.

    If I have to do that, then I might as well just write my own query so please let me know.

    I understand that you have to make but I question why you hide the CSS. Is it so that non-techies can’t modify or is there some other reason?

  • Hi Michele!

    We have three different plugins that serve as three different release channels. Zemanta is the most stable version. As it’s absolutely free, we expect the backlink as a measure of goodwill from our nice users.

    You can easily add this line to the css and it will remove the backlink.
    `.zem_rp_backlink {display:none !important;}

    We “hide” the CSS so the interface is simple and usable for the first-time user. 🙂

    Hope this helps!
