 * The original idea behind AMP pages was that the search engines and other entities
on the internet could access for mobile delivery, very fast loading pages.
 * Google began by crawling a normal html page and analysing it as to content as
well as SEO data such as Titles, descriptions, Open Graph data, schema etc.
 * It would then add that page to the index and at the same time take note that
an AMP page that was exactly the same was available.
 * In the case of a mobile user that AMP page would be served instead of the full
   html page.
 * Since that time AMP has become more and more feature rich and since Google’s “
Mobile First” policy was announced things have changed.
 * Full AMP copies of entire sites with menus etc have now become a viable alternative
to having a mobile version of a site using whether responsive themes or plugins
   like WP-Touch.
 * This means that Google is most likely crawling AMP pages/sites independent of
the full HTML sites and thus creating a mobile only eco system.
 * Before it was enough to have all the SEO data on the full HTML site but now it
is just as important to have that same information available on AMP versions.
 * The one reason I have not deployed this plugin on my money sites is that it strips
out the SEO data from plugins such as All-in-One SEO, WP-Social and other plugins
that control meta data like titles, descriptions, schema, open graph etc.
 * Once it can do this then it really will be a contender.

 * Hi Lance,
 * I don’t have a working mobile phone because I’ve been arduously saving money
to pay the lawyer who will do my foreclosure trial on May 20. Wish me luck!
 * So, my question is: What do search results for AMP pages look like if they don’t
include the All-in-One SEO data??? or Rich Snippets, or… whatever????

 * Google doesn’t present amp pages in search results and there is no “AMP search.”
 * What it does is SERVES an amp page to a mobile user if it is available.

 * there are search results showing the AMP lightening bolt sign…
 * If what you say is true, then what’s the whole thing about Google requiring a
secure site in connection with showing AMP in search…?

 * My friend with a mobile phone was over today. I had him search for keyword on
my sites. My pages showed with with “AMP” and the All In One SEO that I’ve added
back when I relied on responsive pages alone.
 * My friend hadn’t known about AMP and was stunned by how fast my pages opened
   for him. It was milliseconds.
 * I think your business sites would benefit from being “amplified”

 * Also, when I first heard about AMP the way I saw it explained was a collaboration
between several … entities, Google being one.
 * The idea was that mobile phones took a long time to load pages, and users were
on the go so it was highly inconvenient. Search engines weren’t the driving force
as much as mobile phone users.
 * I was going to post a link to the original video presentation I saw, but I think
   it may have been replaced…

me know the names of other plugins you are referring too so that we can add those

 * Hey [@lancecarr](https://wordpress.org/support/users/lancecarr/)
 * We are about to add All In One SEO compatibility very soon and coming to WP Social,
we have to test it before we add compatibility of that plugin.
