A lot of troubles after upgrade

    After upgraded from old BuddyPress to latest I got a lot of problems which is BP related like mail problems with wrong mailer which cause problems for me with user registration verification emails and more problems which I hope gets solved or someone can atleast write a cleanup script to help get rid of old database junk from older releases.

    Generally, if you’re looking for solutions, posting on the BuddyPress.org support forums will be more productive than leaving reviews here.

    If you can post over at buddypress.org, we’ll try to help you, and it would be helpful if you would include the following details in the post: what version did you upgrade FROM? what theme are you using? are you using the Forums component? If so, are you using bbPress 2, or do you have a legacy bbPress 1 installation (if you don’t know, you are likely on bbPress 2).

    For anyone finding this via Google, BuddyPress *does* tidy-up its database as/when required between releases. If you perceive otherwise, please let us know what you think we’re leaving behind unnecessarily, and we can investigate. Thanks.
