  • Could you post a couple of example links? What error message does the plugin display for those links (e.g. “404 Not Found” or something else)?

It looks like the site is set up to block visitors based on the referrer URL. If I add the links to a test page and then click one of them, I get a “Page Not Found” error. However, if I paste the link URL in the browser address bar and press Enter, it works fine. This suggests that the owner of tamingthesaxophone.com is using some kind of script or server setting to restrict access to .mp3 files based on where the visitor came from.

If tamingthesaxophone.com is your site, you might want to consider turning off that protection or whitelisting your server IP so that internal requests don’t get blocked.

No, this is not the case. I am not blocking any access to mp3 files.

In that case, why do I get a “page not found” when I click on a link to one of those files?

    I don’t know

Which link on which page are you clicking on?

As I mentioned, I added the links you posted to a test page. It’s likely that the result will be the same if the link is on any page that’s not on a white-listed domain of some kind.

For example, here’s a test page that contains a link to one of the .mp3 files:

Edit: Here’s a screenshot of what I see when I click the link on that page:
