A little help with the title image

  • Hi – I’m new to WordPress, so sorry if this question is terribly basic.

I’ve set the program up without problem, but wish to replace the title image (blue to lighter blue) with my own. I’ve had a look at some support documentation which explains about the header.php file and the jubrickheader.jpg file. I’ve looked at the image file, but am somewhat confused… if I alter / replace that, then will that work? I ask because in the Admin sections, you can alter the header colour – so would that clash with my new image?

If I’m just making problems, can anybody just suggest the easiest way to replace the title image?

Thanks very much in advance, Jonathan.

  • If using the Kubrick theme, look for “kubrick.jpg” in your theme files. You can rename your custom image to this and upload it in same place as original and voila!
Or you can manually change the name in your header file to what you choose and upload image.

When using image, it should override colors, but if not, you can tweak it any way you want in the theme editor.

I see. So if an image is used, that will override any colours that are set. I’ll have a go 🙂

    Thanks very much.
