    The plugin checks in free version up to php 8.0+ compatibility. Who needs to know if a plugin is compatible with an obsolete version of php ?

    Thanks for the feedback — that’s helpful.

    The free scan uses the public WPTide index, which currently reports PHP compatibility up to 8.0 so sites still on legacy stacks have a baseline check. For PHP 8.1/8.2/8.3/8.4 (and vulnerability insights), our Pro scanner runs an extended analysis via the CompatShield Portal.
