    Hi there,

Firstly – great plugin! Optimus is by far my favourite image optimisation tool, so thanks for that!

    Here’s a heads-up and a feature request:

    Heads-up:
It seems that your plugin is not compatible with the ‘Enhanced Media Library‘ plugin – or maybe it’s the other way around; their plugin is not compatible with yours? Anyway, it’s working alright, but the little indicator telling you how much you’ve saved on the compression is no longer visible in the ‘Attachment Details’ field of the individual image files when both plugins are in use. Shame 🙁

    Feature request:
I think it would be great if you could get a bit more of a breakdown / details about how much space you’ve saved in total by using Optimus. This would be nice to implement both for bulk optimisation (so that you can see the results as the bulk optimiser does is thing and in the end of the process with a total) and as a page under the plug-in which you can revisit at any time and see the benefits of having used Optimus.

I really think that my feature request would pay off in the sense that it will really show your users the benefits of using your plugin, which will both please your customers as well as incentives them to recommend others to use it as well.

Hope the above is useful and keep up the good work!

    Many thanks.

  • I tried to reproduce the Enhanced Media Library issue however was unable to. Is it required that you set any specific settings in order to reproduce it? Upon installing and activating the plugin I can still see the Optimus compression results in the Media Library.

Do you have a screenshot you can provide?

    Hi there @codyarsenault,

Thanks for your quick response and apologies for the delay on my side.

Also, thanks for checking that it worked on your end – I completely forgot that I have to view the images in ‘list’ view and not in the ‘grid’ view in order to see the improvements – my bad. Your screenshot was really helpful and reminded me of this!

In a slightly funny way, I think that this actually proves my second point (re. my feature request above) that this part of the plugin could be improved, and so I still hope that you’ll consider working on the ways in which the plugin gives you details above the results of Optimus.

Have a nice rest of the week and many thanks!
