Over the past couple of days I experienced some rather interesting issues with my home network. It's to indepth to really go into the issues, but I was lucky enough to come accross a certain group of people that took time out oft their lives to help me resolve my computer/mac related issues.
Not only did they take my hand and walk me through the technoligies that were causing the issues, they stuck right by my side to the end to resolve and educate me on the issues.
There is a "social underground" of people that I'll probably never have an opportunity to thank in person . Very dedicated and patient people that even took the extra step to go above and beyond the normal call of duty.
I have been a participate in the Apple Discussions for about 2 years to offer my assistance on video conferencing and never really realized what all goes into supporting our fellow users.
It was truely refreshing to come accross such a dedicated group of people wanting to help me resolve my issue and even provide some additional guidance along way.
Most times when I sit down at my Mac I'll appreciate that much more how much people really do care and want to offer their leanding hand.
"I will never forget". Thanks to one and all for the personalized assistance. If you are ever online when I am, feel free to drop a note that we met - but yet didn't.
