Support » Plugin: SSL Insecure Content Fixer » A file with an insecure url…

  • I’ve made my site https on, but I’m still getting this sort of thing with Whynopadlock, and I can’t figure out where the issue is, as I’ve changed every http for https that I can find.

    It says something like this, but on every page of my site:
    A file with an insecure url of “” was loaded on line: 827 of

    Also, when running your plugin, I get the following, but it’s the above problem I’m looking to fix, really.

    Your server environment shows this:

    <br />
    <b>Fatal error</b>: Call to undefined function hash_equals() in <b>/home/dvdfeverco/public_html/dvd-fever/wp-content/plugins/ssl-insecure-content-fixer/nowp/ajax.php</b> on line <b>18</b><br />

    Thanks for your help.

    G’day DVDfever,

    It looks like an image being added via JavaScript. I think your best bet here is to run Better Search and Replace to convert every reference to your website into HTTPS, as described in the manual:

    Thanks for telling me about the error in the admin. You’re running an old version of PHP, earlier 5.6, and I’ve added some code that calls a function not available in obsolete versions. Here’s a new version of the plugin that fixes that error, if you want to prevent it; I’ll release it live in the next few days. NB: it won’t help with your actual problem, so no need to install this if you can live with that admin error.

    Thanks for your reply, but which image is the problem? That’s what I need to track down.

    I’ll hang on for the new version so I can do it through the Plugins page on WordPress as I find it easier that way, thanks. 🙂

    The warning you’re getting in Google Chrome is this:

    Mixed Content: The page at ‘’ was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure image ‘’. This content should also be served over HTTPS.

    So it’s something “not quite right”, and it’s likely being added via JavaScript (i.e. after any cleanup).
