I am in no ways “computer savvy”, so I’ve been leery about making the jump to WP.org. I’m just a college football fan with a football blog. Here are my questions…

Can I keep the same theme without having to delve into CSS?

If I ever want to change the theme, is it as simple as it is on WP.com?

Does the dashboard and posting work the same?

There are other contributors on the blog, would there be any differences in how they can post?

Since I’m computer illiterate, is the Install4Free site the best way to go?

Thanks for your time, any other advice is greatly appreciated.

    Dale

  • 1. You will need to find your theme in the outside world and upload it to your host.
    See Using_Themes

    2. That link above also describes the process of uploading a theme. Once you have a theme uploaded, the process is the same as wordpress.com

    3. Dashboard and posting pretty much the same.

    4. Other contributors would login to your blog, very similar to wordpress.com

    5. Install4free will install one personal blog.
