    Hi,
I’m having a problem with the app and I could really use help. Just last week I installed the plugin. It’s on two sites. I have it set up properly in the dashboard.

    For shazammoviefanpage.com- app is app.shazammoviefanpage.com
    – In the Appsticles dashboard there’s a red alert saying the CNAME isn’t set up correctly. But, the app invitation fires on mobile.

    – I did change the feed from RSS to Atom… it’s blank. Is there a latency period before content shows from a feed? It simply won’t parse and I validated the ATOM feed. I switched because RSS would only show the summary. http://www.shazammoviefanpage.com/feed/atom/

    For manofsteelfanpage.com- app is m.manofsteelfanpage.com

    – I have set it up correctly in CNAME and it has propagated, which you can see here: http://digwebinterface.com/?hostnames=m.manofsteelfanpage.com&type=CNAME&ns=resolver&useresolver=8.8.4.4&nameservers=

    – This is where it gets weird. I’ve done everything I can do on my end. I think this is on the Appsticles server end where I’m having a problem. I even verified the plugin and script works in the header on the other site.

    – My tech support guy for the dedicated server went to the full site on his iPhone using Safari and the first time saw the full site. When he refreshed, the 2nd time he got blinking dots. No message is firing and that screen with blinking dots is preventing the full site from loading on mobile. Then he went to m.manofsteelfanpage.com and got blinking dots, too.

    – Using my iPhone Safari I get only blinking dots when I try to go to the full site. And I get the same when I go m.manofsteelfanpage.com. I even switched from WiFi to mobile network but it didn’t help (because sometimes ISPs will block or cache.) I also verified the feed URL for Atom is correct. http://www.manofsteelfanpage.com/feed/atom/

    – I’ve moved the firing script around a few places: after the <head>, just before the </head>, after the <title> (which looks funny in the browser window), just before the </title>.

    – I uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin from the WordPress repo. I ended up having to deactivate the plugin on this site just to get the site to load on mobile.

Is there any kind of technical issue occurring? I’ve done all I can do on my side. I even restarted the Apache server.

Thank you in advance. I really do appreciate the technical support. I’m quite very keen on using this software. But we simply can’t get things right since the dashboard update. I had communicated with Ciprian, but haven’t heard back from him since early Wednesday morning, and these are real technical items occurring.

    Hi C!

I replied back privately, but I’ll post here for sake of posterity.

The info you provided on the plugin and Appticles not being interdependent was incredibly helpful. I was confused about that.

As for the technical items, we’ll watch and thank you for connecting me with A. I’ll notify her if something technical occurs.

And for anyone who may read this, Appticles is clever technology. Delivering a mobile app through the browser instead of publishing in the App Store or Google Play is time-saving at the least and easier for the reader’s experience.
