Hi there! I’ve gone through the plugin’s tabbed options and read what I can in various documentation, but I’m still not clear on a few things.

    1. As CAOS loads the analytics code locally, should I see a .JS file loading my GTMetrix content waterfall? I no longer see an analytics-related .js file I believe.

    2. You mentioned elsewhere that you’re using a different name for the file (I think); what was it named?

    3. Is there a way for me to do a simple test to verify Analytics functionality is good to go after setting up CAOS?

Thank you very much! Have a good day.

    Hi!

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you.

    1. Yes, you should still see an analytics.js or gtag.js file in your waterfall, but instead of it being loaded from google-analytics.com it should be loaded from your own site’s URL.
    2. This is old, I think that was back in version 1.0 🙂
    3. Yes, you can use Google Analytics’ Realtime tab, and you can temporarily enable CAOS to track logged in administrators.

    Hope it helps!
