a different theme for pages?

  • I’ve read a bunch of stuff but it’s just not getting through my thick skull…

Can I apply a different style sheet to my pages? I mean, one style sheet to the regular blog and another to the pages?

Any help for a dolt would be most welcome.

    Thanks!

  • If we are talking about Pages, i.e. Pages made in Wp by Write > Write Pages – the answer is no.
However, you can create as many Page templates (see the link above) as you wish and style them differently in your theme’s stylesheet.
If you need a “visual aid” about how the template files system works, check out this – you will see how the middle part of a webpage is different depending on the queries.

Thanks Moshu. I will look this over. I THINK I am seeing the light even by the short explanation you’ve given. Thank you. 🙂
