A couple of issues

  • Version 3 looks very nice! Good job!
I wish you didn’t release it just yet, though. It’s almost too buggy to bear with.

Here’s a couple of bugs I’ve noticed right off the bat:

    1. I’m sure I’ve chosen a correct folder in my S3 bucket. Instead, it created one called “ogY+Q0Aud7CN8GXDX5Ih285jr4q88rlt+2j6elMB” and backed up there instead.
    2. It creates long, gobbledygook-y names for the XML export files. (an example is in the logs).

I’ll update the list if I find more bugs.

    My logs are here.

I’d be glad to help you with debugging if you need.

for the xml export the blog name will sanitize for the file name. Edit the job and check the XML Export tab.

    Okay, it helped. Thanks!

The name of mine was “%c2дпb020%bc020%b8020%bd020%b5021%80020%b0020%bb021%8b-021%83020%ba021%80020%b0020%b8020%bd021%8b%c2%bb.wordpress.2013-03-02.xml”. Are you sure this is how it should interpret names? Cyrillic in my case.

Please chnage it to a none Cyrillic.

I can’t. Are there any other solutions?

Oh sorry i mean the file name if you edit the job in the Tab XML Export

Ah, okay. I’ve changed the name of my XML, thanks!
My question is this — is this a correct naming behavior for non-latin names like mine? I think, the best way would be to simply transliterate them.
