A connection attempt failed

    Hi Jason,

    I bought Zerif Pro theme from Themeisle. There seems to be a problem with the contact us form that they have built-in.

    I have configured the Postman ( poort 587, server stmp.gmail.com )

    But when trying to send an email on the website ( http://www.invest4growth.be). the website does not re-act and I have the following in the email log :

    ” A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond. “

    Does the Postman Send Test Email function succeed?

    no Smtp connection fails everytime I try

    Try using the Setup Wizard to configure Postman.

    I have done all this before I post my problem here.

    my question is why I do get the following msg :

    A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond. “

    and what is the solution for this to work

    Because you’ve incorrectly configured the plugin. The wizard would not configure the plugin to a server that gives timeouts.

    Please post the output from the Diagnostic Test here.
