A “checked” check box is not being recognized as checked when form submitted

    I am using the excellent free version
    Wordpress 5.5
    PHP 7.4.9
    If I have a check box on a form which is mandatory
    Even if the user HAS checked the box
    they get the message [description of check box]*: is required

    thanks for looking at this issue so quickly
    I have updated to 2.6.4
    The problem still occurs when the check box field is mandatory.
    The dialog box says : xxx is required even if the check box is checked
    The same problem occurs with the check box which is generated when the “Enable Terms & conditions” is enabled in the Theme as this is also mandatory

    Hi! I have the same issue! I refreshed my cache, but it didn’t help… Also, I can not find where I can edit the terms and conditions checkbox, it is not in my form…
    Also, 2 days ago I updated WordPress and all my plugins. Could this be the cause?
    Please help!

    Hi dear user.

    You can edit the “Terms and conditions” from the Booking calendar themes page > General tab > Enable Terms & Conditions.

    Hi!

    When I disable the Terms and Conditions, the system works fine. I had the same problem when I had another checkbox in the form. So the problem appears to be in the checkboxes in the forms..

    I use Booking Calendar Pro WpDevArt version 10.4. We have the paid version.
    I use WordPress 5.5–nl_NL.
