    Seeing this in debug.log:

    PHP Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the wordfence domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the init action or later. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /home/customer/www/mysite.com/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6121

    Is this being addressed?

    (Recently updated the site to PHP 8.3 and was checking logs — not sure if it was happening before that.)

    Hi @bws-online, thanks for getting in touch.

    What was the timestamp of that notice and had the plugin been updated to 8.1.0 yet? In our 8.1.0 release notes from 25 August’s update:

    Fix: Prevented notice about _load_textdomain_just_in_time being called incorrectly

    I updated the plugin right about that time (was doing updates between 17:22 and 17:24).

    I’ll clear out the log and see what I see.

    Okay. Renamed the old log, turned logs back on, visited the site, ran a WF scan — no new log created/no error showing up. I think I’m set. Thanks.
