    After I run the install.php, everything seems to be okay. When I click the ‘take me there’ link to resave the permalinks page, I get this message: “One or more database tables are unavailable. The database may need to be repaired.” I click the link to repair the database and I get this message: “To allow use of this page to automatically repair database problems, please add the following line to your wp-config.php file. Once this line is added to your config, reload this page.
    define(‘WP_ALLOW_REPAIR’, true);” I repair the database and try to navigate to the site but I still get the same message of “One or more database tables are unavailable. The database may need to be repaired.”

    I’m using Bluehost as my provider.

  • I am not sure about the that plugin, but I know that Simple Scripts with Bluehost should make it pretty easy to install wordpress. After that I believe you should be able to use that plugin to copy over your content.

    Hey ctmalone15

    Here is a helpful section on the FAQs page:
    -> Browse To: http://lifeinthegrid.com/duplicator-faq/
    -> Find Section: “3 Troubleshoot”
    -> See Question: “One or more database tables are unavailable. The database may need to be repaired.”

    Let me know if that helps!

    Thanks lifeinthegrid and sorry for not looking at the FAQs before. I executed the sql command that was given but in my database there was no row with option_name = ‘siteurl’ so nothing was changed. I also tried adding the line to my config.php file and repairing the DB but still no luck.

    Hey ctmalone

    Did you check your tables in the database? Do they have content? Might have to Google for that error as it is generated by the core WordPress files…

    I checked the database, it has some content, but is definitely missing some stuff. I’ve been trying to get answers online but haven’t been able to find any definitive answer yet.

    You can give the latest version (0.4.0) a try it may have your fixes for the issue your seeing. The very latest version can be found by following these instructions:

    -> Browse to http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/duplicator/developers/
    -> Look for the section “Other Versions”
    -> Click on “Development Version” and download the zip plugin file
    -> Uninstall your current version and install this one
