The plugin resized my thumbnails to 200×200 as I requested, however, when I went back to all my posts the images were not there only a blank placeholder. The file name and original dimensions were still there in the posts. I had to manually edit each attachment and change whatever size was there to 200×200.

I am hoping in the future that there is maybe a next step after the resize to go back and adjust the post dimensions of the attachment. Or maybe I missed something?

Thanks for providing an update. I already manually made my changes, but I will use the plugin for the future.

Mine’s not editing the post code either – source code still shows the image accessing a medium sized thumbnail with “filename-620×363.jpg” (width of medium sized thumbnail in previous theme = 620 px). Since that file was removed by the plugin and replaced in the wp-content/uploads folder with with filename-560x??.jpg (width of medium plugin in current theme = 560 px, don’t know the exact height) it displays it as a broken image.

    Here’s a sample page.

    Using version 1.3.

This happened because the post url image = thumbnail medium size old…
Force Regenerate Thumbnail exclude the old thumbnails…

For this work, use this plugin: Regenerate Thumbnails
