Show full post for first 4 posts and excerpt for remaining

Hi,

I’d like to display the complete post for initial 4-5 posts and only the excerpt for remaining. I know i need to use the_excerpt and the_content in multiple loops but i’m lost after that.
Any tips or pointers would be helpful? Maybe there’s a plugin already that i could use?
