    I suspect that some HTML or CSS parameter from your theme is not being respected on mobile devices and so the layer below (which is black in your case) is showing through. The only way to apply a fix for this is to hunt down the source of the black in your theme files and change it to white for example. Firebug is a useful tool for this as you can individually turn CSS parameters on and off until you find what you are looking for.

    Thanks for the response. Actually I think I figured it out by turning off the “Include theme CSS stylesheet in HTML notifications” setting. Testing it that way worked great as I’m fine with a standard white background.

    That fix will work too 🙂 it’s also a very strong sign thats it’s a black parameter in the theme CSS too.
