Thanks for this crucial plugin.
This option is unchecked on my network: Disable primary domain check.
But I still have problems with duplicate content with google. The duplications are across the domains of various sites on the network. How can this be prevented?

The duplicate content rules are from Google (& the other search engines). The plugin isn’t going to change or eliminate those rules.

You could write a plugin that turned SE indexing off when on the duplicate URLS.
