I would assume it would be the footer.php, since that’s the one that handles the menu.
Or you can simply add a text widget into the Footer
The problem is that if you want to add a chunk of main content text into the homepage using a text widget in the footer, you can´t use this as a proper footer anymore.
The way I have done it is to add all the text (and using any HTML code you like) in home.php – see the result here: http://www.picturelanzarote.com
And I can still use my footer too! 🙂
However, I just realise that I moved my menu to the top under the logo (took it out of footer.php and put it in home.php above the text).
Hello themadcatlady ,
Love your site!
I have been looking for that “slideshow” just like yours and in many current sites out there. Can you tell me how you did your gallery slides?
Here’s my site

Appreciate your help!
Hi KCalayag,
Not exactly sure what you mean by gallery slides, but if you mean the actual photo gallery, it´s done with a plugin called NextGen Gallery, which is really fantastic for creating photo galleries.
Here´s the link:
NextGen Gallery Plugin
I hope this helps.
