Akismet Spam – API key

I’ve done a brief search and haven’t found anything directly relevant to my problem.

When I go to my spam filter, all I get is the Akismet configuration page that asks me for my API key. The key is entered and correct but I can’t get past that page to check the filter.

This has only happened recently, i.e. in the last few days. I don’t remember when I last checked for spam but it hasn’t been more than a day or two at most. The only thing I’ve done since then is backup my database.

Any ideas?
