    Hello!

    Thank you for an excellent plugin. I tried it recently and it works great! A real solution for my blog!

    But i have some problem, i think there must be an obvious solution for it but i didn’t find it. The thing is the plugin shows only earlier posts in the recent post box of an article.

    Let me give you an exaple, i have 3 posts:

    How to quit smoking part 1 (published 7 september)

    Recent posts: no recent posts

    How to quit smoking part 2 (published 9 september)

    Recent posts: How to quit smoking part 1

    How to quit smoking part 3 (published 11 september)

    Recent posts: How to quit smoking part 1, How to quit smoking part 2

    With part 3 it is okay it is how it should be, but i want it like:

    How to quit smoking part 1 (published 7 september)

    Recent posts: How to quit smoking part 2, How to quit smoking part 2

    etc.

    Maybe i have missed some setting or something. I would appreciate your help.

    I suggest you try lowering your “match threshold” for YARPP in general, so that the algorithm is more lenient.

    In the YARPP options page, if you don’t see a “Relatedness” section, go to “screen options” in the top corner to show the Relatedness section. Then lower the “match threshold” (default 5, maybe to 2?) and save. Then see if the recomputed results look better to you.

    Thanks for your response, but the first thing i did after i downloaded this plugin was match threshold adjustment (and now it is “1”), it does affect the related posts section but it doesn’t affect the principle that this section shows only posts that were piublished earlier.

    I have a post for example “how to drive a car” published today and “how ride a bicycle”, published yesterday related post for “how to drive a car” is “how ride a bicycle”, but there are no related posts for “how ride a bicycle” because it was made earlier than “how ride a car”.

    yaph, i have the same case. The related post isn’t updated in previous post when we post the new one (with similiar content of course). I’ve tried to search your query in your plugin, but i don’t get it..

    In the relatedness options, is “Show only previous posts?” turned on?

    I am using the latest version 3.5.6, but I am not able to see the relatedness options, such as “Show only previous posts?” to turn it off or on. Where can I find it? Thanks.

    If you don’t see the “show only previous posts” option, make sure you show the “Relatedness” settings box, which you can find in the “screen options” in the top right.
