Add blog to website

    Hi all i would like to add blog to my site, mysite.co.uk mysite.co.uk/blog been looking around not just here can it be add via my dashboard? the company who helped design my site indicated that it could be,i don’t agree. from what i have seen i need to do it via my FTP any help links much appreciated.
