I have the latest version of the BackupWordpress but note that now the database SQL backup file is not being created although the ZIP file containing the files is still working and I have “database and files” selected to backup in the settings.

Also when the database backup was being created previously, it would only create one version of the file which would be overwritten with each backup rather than creating a new one for each date (as with the file backups)

Also I would like to be able to backup to a different folder (not within the WP Content folder) or different server for security purposes – is that possible by editing the source files as I can’t find anywhere to change these values?

    Thanks

Oops – second para refers to the database .SQL file and not to the content ZIP files. I do get multiple dated content files.

Given that posts, pages and users are stored in the database it is just as important to have database files sequentially as well as the content.

The database dump is included with the files in the backup zip file.

You can control the backup path by defining HMBKP_PATH
