Big Comment Numbers.. or even control…

    I want to control the way my comment numbers look and where they appear. I cannot however find to many post that directly tell me exactly what aspect of the comments.php page controls the comment numbers. Can anybody help me out?

    In most themes it’s a simple ordered list – if you refer to the numbers 1. 2. 3. etc. in front of the comments.
    For a different look – stylesheet.
