A Page on my website was missing / deleted without my knowledge

    My posts page (listed on my website menu) was missing from my website- It was easy enough for me to re create the page once again and direct posts to that page and add it back to the menu list.
    But I am puzzled why a page might have gone completely missing from my website – I wonder if my WordPress install got hacked..??
    Any answers how I could prevent this ? THANKS!!

    http://www.innertune.net, the missing page was portfolio,but I have fixed the problem- just checking if some safety precaution can be taken so a random page does not go missing again. The only new thing I did was that I used backWPup a few weeks to backup my site.

    A scan of your site seems clean in terms of hacker fingerprints, so I can only guess that your hosts restored a slightly older database backup to your site due to a problem at their end. Have you asked them about this?
