• With much help from Root’s 2 column template (http://www.atthe404.com/wordpress/) I have done some tweaking and tidying to my site:
    http://www.gadgetophile.com/ben/
Previously it was 100% wide, and had absolute-positioned columns on the left and right. It did very nasty things when resized.
I’ve since relegated most of the old left-hand column to the footer, in four floated divs. I think it looks reasonably nice.
Question: Is there any way to make all the divs in the footer the same height, so that the borders don’t mismatch like they do now? I’d like to avoid the tiled background image because the widths may change dynamically.

  • Well in Firefox the heights seem OK, it is only the borders themselves that seem (at least visually) to be missing from some divs. Add ’em in and you will be fine.
I am pleased that the Gemini layout seems to be holding up for you. Thanks.

    That was me. Darn.
