• A few days ago, my site, wgm360online.com was hacked by what I’m pretty sure was a Libyan hacking team. They were apparently upset about that video and chose to hack my site. Fun times.

Anyway, I moved my site onto another server and reinstalled WordPress and updated everything that needed an update.

The only problem I’m having now is that I can’t write or edit posts within the “Edit Post” field.

I’m experiencing similar problems to many who have posted on here before. For instance, the formatting toolbar doesn’t show up under the ‘visual’ tab and I can’t switch to the HTML tab.

I’ve cleared my browser cache and deleted my entire internet history and restarted my computer. I also logged on to my dashboard from a colleague’s computer who also cleared her cache, deleted browser history and restarted her computer. She uses a Windows machine, I use a Mac.

What’s different from others who have posted about problems with the Write/Edit Post field before, is that I think I can edit posts in the field, it may just be that the text in the field is white so it only shows up when I highlight it. This isn’t consistent though. Only posts that have already been started before the hack have “highlightable” text. If I want to start a new post, nothing seems to happen when I type.

I’m at my wit’s end with this one. I’m guessing this is a lingering result of being hacked, but I can’t figure out how to fix it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
