Help with Google Analytics (Site Load Speed)

I use Google Analytics on my site, and we’ve had a MAJOR issue with our load speed. Google Analytics has a tool that tracks the average load time for users, but it needs to be configured before it starts working. I pasted the following in the footer.PHP section of my editor as I was told by google:

_gaq.push([‘_trackTiming’, category, variable, time, opt_label, opt_sample]);

And yet, google analytics still doesn’t show any data when I go to “Site Speed Overview”.
