• Resolved the SUPERLATIVE

    (@thesprltv)

i contacted y’all on Twitter and I was told to post my question here.

i use the Events Calendar and i absolutely love it. does exactly what i need it to and very well.

only problem that i have with it is that if i have an event that extends past midnight, it still lingers on the “EVENT LIST” page the whole day, even when my events end at 2am.

let’s say it’s 2:15am and an event ended at 2am. rather than the page being automatically updated and taking away that event, the event hangs around until 12:00am the following day.

    it’s not THAT big of a deal, but i’m just a nerd/perfectionist.

if you can help me with this, it’d be awesome.

    thanks in advance.

  • Hi there, the SUPERLATIVE. Thanks for reaching out (here and on Twitter), and for your use of The Events Calendar. We appreciate the support and are glad to hear the plugin is meeting your needs.

If I understand your issue correctly here, we’ve got a feature in the plugin code that should help resolve this very issue for you. Go to Events -> Settings and find the Multiday Event Cutoff (http://d.pr/i/qPCr). Set that as something like 2:30 am and you should be all set.

We do have another issue related to past events (from the same day) continuing to show in the loop, when that setting isn’t enabled, and that’ll be fixed in the next release. Appreciate your patience on this end in the interim. If you have other questions here or if I misunderstood your goal, let me know so I can get you what you need. Thanks again for your support!

I’m going to mark this as RESOLVED, the SUPERLATIVE, since I know we’ve had exchanges since this one and I never heard anything back on this end. Please let me know if you disagree/are still having issues, and we can continue to troubleshoot as needed. Cheers!
