  • A dynamic DNS address will only point people to your computer. If you want to host WordPress yourself, you’ll still need to keep Apache running.

    And as long as Apache is still running, http://localhost/ will always work.

    If you don’t want people connecting to your computer to visit your site, you’ll need to upload your site to a paid host, or sign up for a free account at WordPress.com.
