[Theme: Oxygen] Header image – help!!!

    Hi folks,

    i recently moved my wordpress.com-blog to it’s own url and webspace, but since then i have several problems with the chosen oxygen theme. the wordpress.org-version seems to be a heavily reduced in comparison to the .com-version which causes a lot of problems.

    first of all i can’t manage it to customize the header. i created and image and used the appearance->header-tool in the .com-version which the .org-version is missing. so i got that result:

    that should be the blueprint for that:

    does any one has an idea how to solve that problem? it’s getting pretty frustrating so big thanks for every hint:)…

    alright, let’s see if i remember it right:

    go to design->settings and upload your header-image in the logo-section. your image probably won’t fit perfectly, so add the following code to the custom-css-section below:

    #branding { width: 100%; }

    that should do…

    Hi,

    I am having the same problem with oxygen. I can’t seem to fit the header image to fit the full screen… I tried the code #branding { width: 100%; } that Leroar suggested above and still nothing. this is for my new site detoxwithme.ie

    First time building my own site, i am determined to get to the bottom of this even though technology is not my forte!… Would adding a Feature Image Slider plug in sort it out.??

    Also, can someoen please tell me where I go on the wordpress site to start my own topic.?!?!!??? Can’t find it.
