I want to display the free events of 2 different cities, I was thinking of having 2 mini calendars, one for each city. When a user from city A clicks on a date in the mini calendar I have created for city A, the free events that take place that day in that city should appear.

I have published the widget, and have set the category to be displayed, but the problem is that ALL events appear when a date is clicked, not just the events for the specified category (city).

Here is the site: http://www.jaba.gr (I have left one calender on the bottom of the sidebar)

This is a known issue that still needs to be addressed …
For now it is just not implemented yet.

I’ve had the same issue with 5-6 calender plugins!

As a workaround, use the “full=1” option to the shortcode [events_calendar], that will only show the events of your choice per day, but inside the calendar.
