[Plugin: Promotion Slider] Two Important Features Missing

First off I want to say I love this slider…it is super easy to manage for an end user that much not be tech oriented.

That being said there are two blaring omissions in features that make this slider inferior.

(1) It really is not a slider, but more of a fader. That being said it seemd like the only animation available is a fader. All the standard jQuery animations, slideRight, slideLeft, slice, rain, random, etc seem to be missing. Has any been able to hack this to include those “standard” animations?

(2) The other parameter that would really improve the aesthetics of this slider would be a “slide transition speed” so you can make the transitions take long or go faster. Note this is different that than “delay between slides” feature. Has any one been able to hack this feature into the plugin?

Without these two essential feature I unfortunately cannot use this plugin. Any help with a work around would be great appreciated…
