• Dear friends,
Can some kind soul please help a guy (2 hours out before client presentation!!!) out?

Situation: Making changes working fine all morning, but problem might stem from discover that two of us were editing the same page at the same time (dunno, just a guess), and then >>BAM<< no changes will save.

    The URL is here: http://www.belived.com/tbpl/wp-admin/admin.php?page=LayerSlider/layerslider.php#tabs-3

The Change attempt: (well really any, but the original task was) to replace default video embed link with new/different youtube embed link in Layer Slider – 3, last one down which by default, in the template, references a video.

The invitation: please, if inclined to help, use the following log-in and see if you can tell us what’s wrong here…

    User Name: WPSupport
    Temp Pass: letmehelp!
    At: http://www.belived.com/tbpl/wp-admin/admin.php?page=LayerSlider/layerslider.php#tabs-3

Thanks so much for ANYthing that you can suggest (or do!).

    -David

    Dear WPress Communities/Techies,

What could be going on that a “save changes” button does not or does not know where to write a change page to???

If you have a form embedded in a sublayer HTML, you are not able to save the sublayer again due to the fact that HTML snippet is embedded in another HTML snippet.

I read that the developers are aware of the issue and will be corrected in a future release.

For now, you can encase your form element in a shortcode and use the shortcode in the sublayer. I am using “widgets on pages” plugin to do this.

    Hi,

I have caused this problem by putting a form into the sublayer, as a div…

I see there is a solution as suggested by Mulholland, however I have no idea what this means!

Any way you can elaborate at all?

    Cheers

    Hi all,

    Experienced the same problem.

As pjcheshire mentioned, the cause of this are the HTML codes we add the text/content in the Custom HTML Content box.

Solution – Use the H1, H2, H3 etc. boxes instead of the Custom HTML Content Box. Click on the Save Button again and you will see your animated text/content working again on the browser.

Hope this works for all you guys as it did for me.

    Cheers!
