Theme Appears Blank

    I’ve installed a theme I developed myself. However, when I activate the theme it appears blank; as do the the default WordPress themes. The only theme that seems to work is the preexisting theme which was installed by a third party.

    While I connect with them, I was hoping someone here might be able to shed some light on the problem.

    I have checked my files, I have deactivated all plugins… neither of these things solve my problem.

    Check your error logs, a blank page indicates a 500 Server error. The web server error logs should tell you where the problem is.
