Not able to edit or add posts after upgrade to 3.4.2

    I installed WP 3.4.2 using FTP. When I go to the Add New Post or Edit a post, no type is appearing in the text box and none of the buttons above the text editing box are appearing. I changed the theme to the default and deactivated the plugins by FTP and then reinstalled the upgrade as several of the troubleshooting posts instructed. But I’m still getting the same problem. Any suggestions?

    Try using a different browser or completely clearing your browser cache and deleting all cookies. Sometimes browsers can be stubborn and keep trying to server a cached version of the javascript or css that could be causing your problems.

    “Use Google Libraries” Plugin also forces it to flush the cache, I upgraded two different sites at the same time in the same browser, one was “stuck” with js issues, the other one worked fine.

    The Google Libraries plugin finally helped.
