• I am using Amdhas Template.

In the filter selection, it mentioned that Amdhas has Two column functionality.
How do I enable this option? I don’t want another sidebar but another column.

You’ll see on the blog igetaround.com.au that there are two columns of posts but I’d like a stable column where I can choose what to put in it as opposed to the updated posts moving around between the columns.

    Does that make sense?

ie I want to include my daily posts on cafes in one column and news items in the second column. (im now doing it in a text widget which is a temporary measure)

    Thanks so much!

  • If I understand that correctly, you don’t want the post to move around as you update it.

Clearly you need a modification of the theme done. But first, you need to be specific on how do you separate the posts ie is it category or tags.

Then you have to modify the file to suit this. I don’t want to go into technical afraid that you’ll get confused.

    Thanks Mohdrafie.
I would like to be able to control what goes into my two columns.
I could filter the second column by category. Ie call everything in column 2 “news” for example.
    Would this work?
how would I still get all those “news” category items in the second column?

    Thanks,

    elana
