Exactly how do I force_feed an RSS feed into the widget
-
Hello!
I just migrated from wordpress.com. I have an RSS feed from a community podcast. It went into wordpress.com widget, easy as.
Now, if you look at http://www.w3joy.org/ (top right widget), you will see that I get this message:
RSS Error: A feed could not be found at http://www.cpod.org.au/feed.php?id=330. A feed with an invalid mime type may fall victim to this error, or SimplePie was unable to auto-discover it.. Use force_feed() if you are certain this URL is a real feed.I have validated the feed–it works, although it gave this message :
This feed is valid, but interoperability with the widest range of feed readers could be improved by implementing the following recommendations.
Feeds should not be served with the “application/xhtml+xml” media type [help]
sorry to sound like a rookie, but can someone walk me through (EXACTLY) how to “use force_feed()” Child CSS (I have it set up)? Plugin? How can I get my feed running again?
Cheers,
Squirrel (co-host w3JOY)(I have tried searching the topics, forgive me if I repeat).
