• I have a site design that I need to integrate a slider into, but can’t seem to find a slider that will work for what I need. Here is a screenshot of the mockup – http://screencast.com/t/rAWTIjVK. Basically you have the image, and then down below the markers for which slide you are on. Also, the 3 links on the left (auto, marine, industrial) all need to function the same way as the buttons. If possible I would like to have both. But if this is not doable, then I am OK with having just the image and the 3 buttons to the left. I can style them with css and make buttons for each, but ideally I would like to load the text of the image title in that slot. Any help here or pointing in the right direction would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.

  • I’d suggest trying the Meteor Slide plugin. Make the slides any size you want in the settings, and decide how many seconds before the slides change. It’s a simple plugin to use and I find it loads quickly.

Every slide has the option to show hover text and to be a hyperlink.

You can put your shortcode for the slideshow into a div if you need it to be in that particular space (such as in your mock-up). Just ensure your photos (slides) are sized correctly when you upload them to WordPress.

    I hope this helps.

I use them in http://www.deniselennon.ca if you want to see how they look or need help.
