Woo Commerce Plug Ins

I am using Woo Commerce plug in for my ecommerce store. I am having an issue with the media uploader, does Woo Commerce control the resizing and cropping of the images I upload? Because I am not sure where the issue lies in woo commerce or word press that the images are not getting cropped correctly? Or should I say some of them are getting cropped correctly and some are not? My media uploader gets stuck on crunching and just sits there but then I go into my media library and images are there, but not sized correctly on the front end of my site. Ok so is that a woo commerce issue or wordpress issue?

Where do I look for help with that?
