• Hi,

This is my first time working with WordPress, and I need some help with properly installing custom themes.

    I created a website with Zymic: http://www.journid.zxq.net
I followed the installation instructions (create database, 5 minute installation, …) and was able to successfully install WordPress.
I decided to try out 2 custom themes. I downloaded the zip files from the theme developer’s websites and uploaded them to wp-content/themes using FileZilla.

    The two themes are:
    1) Busby Theme
    2) Meet GavernWP

Neither theme seems to have installed properly.
The Busby theme is currently activated and if you go to http://www.journid.zxq.net, you will find that the layout is very disoriented, and not what it should look like.
With the Meet GavernWP theme, I’m supposed to see some demo content loaded by default when I activate the theme, but that didn’t happen. I basically just saw a header with the Meet GavernWP logo and underneath it a “Hello World” post.

I really don’t know what I’m not doing right here, please provide guidance on how to resolve this.
